In Outlook account settings I could see that the password for this account had two extra letters/numbers at the start but when I corrected this the change would not save. In Outlook when I ran Send/Receive, Update all folders, my other email accounts (including another yahoo email - using the same IMAP settings) all updated but this particular ymail email did not - it gave a 'reported error 0x800CCC0E 'outlook cannot downloadįolder inbox from the IMAP email server for account xxxx.
I could still access my ymail via the Yahoo website and on my iPad, just not via Outlook which is my preferred option.
